RIT IEEE Student Design Contest 2 Results
- We attended the RIT IEEE Student Design Contest 2 in Rochester NY. Unfortunately our team did not win. Congratulations to the Stevens eVENTS team for winning "Most Marketable" certificate.

Graphical User Interface & software
- Software is almost complete. Some bugs are being worked out.

Parts received for prototype
We have received the following parts for the prototype so far:
- Power Inverter
- PCM-6898 Motherboard
- Wireless Access Point (homeside HUB)
- Wireless Network Card (carside transmission)
We are waiting on the following to arrive:
- 6.4" LCD screen
- PCM-6898 Processor
The following parts are being supplied by our team members:
- 32mb RAM dimm
- 4gb HD
- RF Modulator
- Power Supply

Sponsorship and IEEE Student Design Contest 2
- The School of Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology has agreed to sponsor our project! This was a major hurdle in achieving a successful project. We will be entering the IEEE Student Design Contest 2. Competition day is May 11th, 2002. Current project status: Design is complete. Parts need to be ordered to build prototype. Software is 90% complete. Graphical Interface for software still needs to be designed.
