Weekly Status:
This past week our team has
re-focused on the project goal of implementing a fully functional Image
Tracking System for use with data and statistical collection capabilities for
the Steven’s Volleyball team. Our group
revisited our design scheme from last semester and is working on revising an
implementation strategy that will allow for a successful senior design
project. Some time was spent this past
week updating the groups Sr. Design Website.
A good deal of time was also spent working out the groups schedule and
meeting times for this semester. Since
this is everyone in our groups final semester before graduation there is a
large variance in workload and course schedules, and there is a good deal of
conflict related to meeting times. We
are currently working out these team member issues so
that they do not become an issue as the semester continues.
We have also be trying to work out a
meeting schedule with our project advisor, and as the groups schedule becomes
resolved with hope to firm up at least a bi-weekly meeting with our project
advisor. The success of our Senior Design Group’s
project is strongly reliant upon cooperation from our advisor since we lack
much of the knowledge needed to implement such a prototype.
