Weekly Status:

This week our team has continued the implementation phase of our ITS-Image Tracking System, software application. Our group is continuing to work on learning how to program in visual basic, how to utilize a custom developed media player via visual basic scripting, and how to incorporate a MS Access database with a Visual Basic Program. We are still working on completing a prototype application, specifically we are working on the main application module which is the ITS program.

Our group is making great strides in moving towards completion of our prototype application. Most of our hours in the past few weeks have been spent on the main ITS program, which is now almost complete except for the sorting options and filters that we are currently designing. Once these functions or complete we can return our attention to the other modules of the project. This week we completed all modifications required to the media player, and have also resolved all issues with creating databases for each match. All “hard” coding for the main ITS program has been resolved. Now our focus is going to be revisiting our Key-Stroke Capture module which we are finding lots of shortcoming in as we begin debugging our program. This module will need to be redesigned.
