The objective of our team is to devise and implement a working online application that can be integrated into any infrastructure to automate room selections for any type of user wishing to submit an application to any housing environment.

The product itself will consist of two main components: the front-end which is the end-user interface (website) where applicants can submit an online application for a room assignment; and the backend, where this information will be sent and stored in a database for processing to be done by the application.

To test our design project in a real world scenario, our team is working in conjunction with Housing Solutions, Inc. as an interdisciplinary project to automate Stevens Institute of Technology’s current housing assignment process.
