Presentations
So far, we've had two presentations.
The first was held at the end of our first semester of Senior Design. Our progress to that point included the design of what we are currently working on (2nd Semester). With hope and the grace of what powers may be, we should make this happen by April 30, 2003. In the fall, we presented our project, what it was, some challenges, our design and intentions, ...that kind of thing.
Our last presentation was Senior Design Day. We had some difficulty with one of our modems that day. What we did to show our functionality was set up two computers. One was in receiving mode and one in transmitting mode. We had one computer dial the other and have the other answer the phone call. We showed an appropriate error message when the receiving machine tried to dial out because the second modem (COM1) was not there. Ideally, the computer would have been able to receive phone calls on COM4 and dial out on COM1.
