Project Documentation
Project Proposal is the
final draft of our project proposal that was due in the beginning of the
semester. It contains a background of the field of our topic, namely
wireless communications, all the requirements the robot must meet to be
fully functional including problems we may face throughout the project,
our approaches to solving these problems, our financial budget which was
the basis for our SEED estimation, and a project schedule including a
Gantt chart.
Midterm Presentation is
the slideshow for our presentation on October 22nd, 2002 in Kiddie Hall in
front of the faculty. It deals more with the financial part of our
project as it talks about estimates we gathered on revenues, expenses,
working capital, MARR, and other details needed to convince a venture
capitalist to invest in this project.
Preliminary SEED Model is
just that. Based on studies done to evaluate the wireless internet
service providers already in business and how the market will grow in the
near future, we were able to come up with a business strategy that is
indeed favorable to venture capitalists.
Final Project Proposal is the final copy
of our project proposal. It includes any necessary changes that we
had to make to our previous drafts, instruction manuals for various
components of our robot, source code appendices, and much more.
Final Presentation (E421) was the
presentation we gave on Thursday, December 5th in the Schatt Lab on the
third floor of Kiddie Hall. It talks about many important economic
details of our project, a few key analysis, and data taken from our SEED
Model to show the attendee's that our project is worth the risk involved.
Finalized SEED Model is
a complete model of our business using estimates to give us an idea of
how the
projects economics would hold out for the entire life of 10 years.
Final Presentation (CpE423) was the presentation we gave
on Tuesday, December 3rd in Burchard 118.
