Include
discussion of what you accomplished this week, who you contacted, what
decisions were made, what obstacles were identified, how they are being
addressed. ·
This week we completed and handed in the spring
interim report. We were able to take
care of the graph problem we were having last week. We had to reset the registers of our COM
blocks in order to get accurate graphs for the desired frequency ranges. ·
We took data in the Wireless lab, in the library,
and in the computer center. We found
that the data was different for each area, which is what we expected. The best data we took was in the computer
center. They were all taken within the
same frequency range of 870MHz to 879 MHz. ·
The data we captured in the Wireless Lab had a wide
red band in it which we thought was due to the interference of all the other
apparatus in the lab. We still think
this is the case, since in the computer center this band was nonexistent. ·
One problem we're having now is saving the
data. In one run, if we choose to run
the loop 35 times, we can only save the last graph. We want to be able to save all the graphs
so we can look at the differences in the spectrum for a run of a couple of
seconds. Two of our team members were
able to get the code to save the data, but when we tried to open the graphs
we couldn't. So, we are still working
on that problem and I am sure that by this week we will have that solved. ·
We plan to take more data with the Cellular Com
block at the beginning of this week and then we want to move on to the PCS
Com block. We also hope to be able to
put a few com blocks in different areas and capture their data
simultaneously. |
