Include
discussion of what you accomplished this week, who you contacted, what
decisions were made, what obstacles were identified, how they are being
addressed. ·
This week we acquired the COMblocks we needed to
receive data from the cellular band.
Initially, we are going to look at the 870-879MHz frequency range for
Cingular. Later on, we will change
COMblock setups so that we can receive data from the PCS band for Cingular
and T-mobile. ·
We're going to begin collecting data in the
Wireless Research Laboratory. The
COMblocks will be safe there. Later
on, we may decide to go to other parts of the campus, including the library
and a team member's dorm room to see the difference in signal strengths. ·
We also discussed putting together a little report
showing some data that we collect for our advisor, Prof. Tureli, to show to
the US Army. By next week, we should
have this report done. ·
We also discussed further the interim progress
report. We know what we want to
include; now, we just have to put the pieces together. ·
As per Prof. Mcnair's request we also decided on
what we were going to need for Senior Design Day. We don't really need much but a power
outlet and internet connection. On
Senior Design Day, we plan to have both COMblock setups so that we can
demonstrate how we can collect data and make the data significant to
visitors. |
