This week we completed the spring interim
report. There are still a couple of
graphs missing from our preliminary results section. However, we plan to work out the few bugs
before we hand in the report. ·
This week we got one step closer to success than
last week. Last week we weren't able
to get the COM block and the software to work together. This week, however, we accomplished this
goal. We got the computer to see the
COM block, to run the software, and to produce graphs. We also figured out how to change the center frequency, the
frequency range, and the duration of testing. The only problem is the
results that we are getting. The graphs that come up are solid
blue. There's something wrong
somewhere and we're trying to figure out what. ·
Tomorrow we will be meeting with Nilay to show him exactly what we’re
doing and to see if he can give us some suggestions on what it is that we are
doing incorrectly. ·
Hopefully, by tomorrow we'll be able to get some meaningful
preliminary results. If not, the
interim report will not include any graphs.

After we obtain our first set of good results, we want to move to
different areas to see the difference in the spectrum use. |
