Include
discussion of what you accomplished this week, who you contacted, what
decisions were made, what obstacles were identified, how they are being
addressed. This week
completed the twelfth full week we have been working on our Senior Design
Project. This week: ·
We had our usual group discussion, where we talked
about our progress, the website, lab time, and future steps to be taken in our
project. ·
This past week we had another meeting with the PhD
student, Nilay, working with Professor Tureli. This time he explained exactly what we
would be doing. He also told us that
he would be ordering the comblocks that we are going to use for receiving
signals. ·
We are still waiting for the keys to the lab
room. Nilay also said that he would
look into that for us. It's great to
work with a grad student. Our team
really encourages it because they can be a great help. ·
This week we completed our final design
report. It explains in detail what our
goal is for the end of the spring semester and how we plan to achieve it. ·
Our final presentation is also practically
complete. We just need to add a few
more slides and practice. ·
This week we also decided to change the name of our
project from "Aloha: Simulation and Critique of a Random Access
Protocol" to "Distributed RF Measurement in GSM and
CDMA". The current name is more
appropriate since we changed the scope of our project. |
