Weekly status:

Include discussion of what you accomplished this week, who you contacted, what decisions were made, what obstacles were identified, how they are being addressed.

This week completed the thirteenth full week we have been working on our Senior Design Project.  This week:

·        We had our usual group discussion, where we talked about our progress, the website, lab time, and future steps to be taken in our project.

·        This week we handed in our final design report.  We think we did a good job on it.  We included all the details on what we hope to accomplish in our project.  Considering we changed the idea and scope of our project, we think we did a pretty good job on the report.

·        This week we also did our presentation.  It went well.  Some questions posed to us by Prof. Mcnair we still couldn't answer, but we're glad he made us aware of certain obstacles we could face.

·        This week also had a final fall meeting with Nilay.  He gave us some suggestions as to what we could do over the break.  A lot of us plan on going back home over the break, so during our time off we plan to learn everything we can about CDMA and GSM, as well as begin working on the matlab coding for both protocols.  We have a protocol for 802.11.  Changing this protocol to work for GSM shouldn't be too difficult, so Nilay suggested we focus more on the CDMA changes.

·        This week we were handed the lab key, so that's one constraint we removed from our list.

·        This week we were also informed that one of the COM blocks was found and that the other 3 or so were put on order, so we should have our units by the beginning of next semester.
