Include discussion of what you accomplished this week, who you contacted, what decisions were made, what obstacles were identified, how they are being addressed.
This week completed the seventh full week we have been working on our Senior Design Project. This week:
· We had our usual group discussion, where we talked about our progress, the website, patents concerning Aloha, and future steps to be taken in our project.
· Work on the simulation of Aloha is a continuous progress. As mentioned before, we are trying to run simulations on Matlab, Simulink and Opnet. One member is handling each task. As for matlab, we have a code for Aloha. There are some errors in it, some undefined variables, but we are working on it. We also plan on showing this code to Prof. Tureli this week to see what suggestions he can make to us.
· Another member of the group is working on the website. It's not completely done yet, but it soon will be.
· This week the DURF proposal is due. We have completed that and we will be handing it into the Dean at NYU this coming Tuesday.
· Other than Prof. Tureli and the DURF people at NYU, we really don't have anyone else to contact yet. This project currently consists mostly of a lot of research and development. As soon as all of the initial software components of our project are taken care of, we can move on to the testing phase.
· This week one of our team members researched patents concerning Aloha. One was about Aloha specifically and another was about another method using aloha. |
