This week completed the ninth full week we have been working on our Senior Design Project.  This week:

·        We had our usual group discussion, where we talked about our progress, the website, lab time, and future steps to be taken in our project

·        This week we had a meeting with Prof. Tureli.  We had to scale our project back a little.  We got a better understanding of the scope of our project.  He sent us some links to previous groups he worked with last semester and in the summer.  With his help, we now feel more comfortable in our project.  We are to build on what his last team started.  Our first step is to read what they did and to duplicate it.  We plan to do this in the next two weeks.  Afterwards, we will begin discussing how to build on their project.

·        This week we also completed the website with the current material.  We had a couple problems accessing koala, but Prof. Mcnair helped in that situation.

·        We discussed lab time.  After we fully understand what the last group did, we will begin using lab time to run the code with hardware provided by Prof. Tureli.

·        We also discussed the possibility of working with a grad student who has done work in our area before.  We plan on contacting him and asking about his availability.

·        We have also begun discussing the final report, its content, and who will focus on what part.
