| March 2006 update: We have recieved the majority of the parts for our system and have begun an installation plan for installing the laptop in the police cruiser. The web application is undergoing continuing development and is getting closer to completion every day. | On November 10th, we visited a Verizon Switching facility out in Wayne, NJ. We met with a network engineer and discusses Verizon's technology, especially with the wireless cards and the EV-DO network we are using for our project. Notes from this dicussion can be found here. |
